also known as Machine. Software is also known as program

1. Hardware
The Physical parts of the Computer are called
hardware. It can be seen and touched known as tangible Devices. Hardware
is also known as Machine.
Examples:
Keyboard,
Mouse, CPU, System Unit, Monitor and Printer.
2. Software
Software is a set of instruction given to
the computer to solve the problems is called Software. It is also known
as Program.
Different types of the software used
to solve the different problems. Software is intangible means it cannot
be touched but it can be seen.
Example:
MS-Office,
Windows, Multi-Media Players, Operating System etc.
What is the
difference between Hardware and Software?
The difference between software and
hardware is as follows:
Software:
- Software is a set of instruction that tells a computer exactly what to do.
- Software cannot be executed without hardware.
- Software cannot be touched
- Software is debugged in case of problem.
- Software is reinstalled if the problem is not solved.
- Software is prepared by writing the instructions of programing language.
- Hardware is physical parts of computer that cause processing of data.
- Hardware cannot perform any task without software.
- Hardware can be seen and touched.
- Hardware is repaired in case of problem
- Hardware is replaced if the problem is not solved.
- Hardware is made of physical materials or components.
